El Paso, Texas - The El Paso Sector Explorer Program is taking a bow today after taking first place in the "2018 Desert Law Enforcement Competition" at the Special Operations Group's (SOG) McGregor Training Complex on Saturday, April 28th, 2018.

This marks the third year in a row that El Paso Sector Station-One team has become the overall winner of the scenario-based competition. 

This year's competition involved four local law enforcement agencies, including: U.S. Border Patrol/El Paso Sector, CBP Office of Field Operations, El Paso County Sheriff's Department and the El Paso Police Department. A total of 21 teams competed.

This competition hosted 200 people at this facility, making it the largest attended El Paso Sector hosted event.

This competition was possible with the participation and tremendous work from SOG Agents, EPT PAO staff, Station’s EMT's, law enforcement advisors and the EPT.
